The creation of our jewelry begins in the Czech Republic and Germany, and it is completed at our studio in Woodstock, Georgia.
We use a combination of memory wire and metal components in our jewelry, which are made from Tombac, a brass alloy containing copper and zinc. Each wire is cut and formed by hand and the pieces are then soldered together.
Our wire and metal components are available in four coatings. The most popular coating is black enamel. Other coatings we offer include silver, a gold finish, and bronze, which is a patina finish over copper.
Our jewelry features both Czech and German glass beads. These beads undergo many processing steps before they become the unique beads that are specific to our jewelry. These steps include heating glass and pressing it into molds, cutting and polishing, and adding a frosted finish using a tumbler with sand and water. Due to the nature of glass, our beads may vary slightly in color, shape, and size.
Each piece of jewelry is carefully crafted by hand. Appropriate care should be taken so that you can enjoy your jewelry for a long time.
- Please avoid direct contact with fresh or salt water, excessive perspiration, chemicals, detergents, and lotions. We recommend that you apply perfume first, allow it to dry fully, and then put on your jewelry.
- Silver and gold tarnishes naturally over time, so we recommend gently wiping the metal pieces from time to time with a polishing or cleaning cloth.
- The glass beads can be spot cleaned with any glass cleaner. Spray a small amount onto a small, woven cloth and wipe the bead down. Please do not spray the cleaner directly onto the jewelry as it may damage the wire coating.
